Well, the Wedding season is underway again and this year is even busier than last!
We have to thank all our couples for choosing Alan Watson Photography to capture their big day! We know there are plenty to choose from when it comes to photographers but as I always say, when comparing, compare apples with apples – so many people are being let down because people believe that all you need is a camera and it can do all the work! Well, it can do a lot, but there is so much more to Weddings than pressing a button!
That is why we have decided to create a Wedding Workshop, where photographers who want to get into wedding photography or those who already are and want to learn new skills and techniques can come to us, work with us, be taught how to interact with clients and learn……we never stop learning……sometimes we think we know it all then BANG!!! Some photographer pops up an image and you think…..I wish I’d done that!
Well, we aim to provide you with skills and knowledge that will only improve your photography – We will be asking you to add a note of interest – this will give us an idea of how many of these courses to run.
We will never over-subscribe as that just defeats the purpose of why you are there. At times, you will be let loose with your model to try and capture that “something different” type of shot – We will throw ideas your way, we will give you different ideas in different locations, not every venue has amazing gardens and beaches, so we show you how to make the most of what you’ve got!
If this workshop is well attended, we will also be offering a Studio Workshop where you will be using studio lighting and different backdrops. We will be offering this course throughout the Autumn and Winter
If you are interested or know someone who may be interested in one of our courses, pass this link on to them. It will improve not only your photography but also the way you deal with clients and remember, we are a service industry…we are providing a service to clients and without clients, what do we have? A camera!

Thank you for taking the time to view this post – Remember cameras don’t take great images – Photographers make them!
